This catacomb, which is excavated in a hill overlooking a stream called the Rio Purgatorio, essentially consists of four galleries, oriented in a rather parallel manner, with a short wall span separating one from the other.

Structurally, one of the most remarkable characteristics is the unusual width of the galleries; in some parts it extends over three meters in width, a feature resembling that found at the two catacombs of Bolsena and Nepi.
