This private hypogeum is located along the Via Appia. The catacomb is an important testimony on how different cults, Christian ones and those of an Eastern origin, could coexist within the same funerary context. The subterranean complex, datable to around the fourth century AC, spreads out over three levels and consists of eight private hypogea. The iconography of the remaining decorations, as may be easily assumed, is very heterogeneous since it includes references to typical episodes from the Mithraic cult and from Christianity.
