By the name of catacomb of Vigna Chiaraviglio, we mean that cemetery nucleus joint with the northern offshoot of the catacomb of St. Sebastian, found in the 20s of the last century, during the construction works of the so-called "House of the catacombs" at the interior of the St. Callisto district.
This cemetery area, which hosted the burial of the martyr Eutichio, presents a pictorial repertoire of extreme interest, in which the arcosolios of Primenius and Severa, of Paulus, of Campanus and, especially, the so-called fresco of the embrace of Peter and Paul , considered among the best known pictorial testimonies of Christian underground Rome.
